Ararat is an old gold mining town in the foothills of the Pyrenees mountains. A rural city with magnificent views of the surrounding country Ararat is close to some of Victoria's most significant National and State Parks, as well as a number of other reserves and lakes. Ararat's main street (lined with grapevines growing up the verandah posts) offers shopping and cafes with plenty to fill in a lazy afternoon.

The atmosphere of this fully self-contained, 2 storey Bluestone house is cosy in winter, with a log fire and has air-conditioned comfort in summer. Our master bedroom features a queen bed and ensuite. Two upstairs bedrooms both have a queen bed and single bed. The modern upstairs bathroom has a spa and separate shower. The fully equipped kitchen, includes dishwasher, wall oven and microwave. Laundry has washing, drying facilities.
