Geelong is the second largest city in Victoria and overlooks the Corio Bay. Geelong is considered to be the Gateway to the Surfcoast offering destinations like Ocean Grove, Torquay, Lorne, Queenscliff and Portarlington. Geelong is a large city with several large shopping complexes, theatres, movies and quality restaurants. Geelong has several safe local beaches including Eastern Beach, a large shark proof enclosure close to the city CBD.
