Lorne More Info
Lorne offers an upmarket atmosphere of specialty shopping, great cafes and scenic accommodation. Lorne offers pleasant walks along the beach or the paths above the roadside. Because it's a hilly town it is not hard to get accommodation with great ocean views even a few streets back from the waters edge. Lorne is one of the most popular destinations on the Great Ocean Road. Take some time to get a room overlooking the sea and enjoy the waves crashing onto the shore.

Feed the Cockys at Lorne - Article More Info
On my first visit to the Lorne Hotel around a year ago I discovered the abundant native delights known as the white cockatoo. On the balcony next door we could see a row of them sitting happily one foot holding onto the rail while holding a cracker in the other. On a quest to get healthy we had purchased low fat potato chips and as this was all we had put them on the deck on a plate.
