Daylesford is the Spa Capital of Australia with over 70% of Victoria's mineral water in this location. Daylesford is a mecca for those wanting to partake of the waters with more massage therapists per capita than possibly anywhere in Australia. Daylesford and it's sister town Hepburn Springs cater mostly for those needing Rest and Relaxation and being surrounded by the beautiful Wombat Forest and only around an hour and a half from Melbourne it is very popular.

I don’t understand Daylesford’s aversion to Christmas decorations. You could drive through Hepburn Springs and Daylesford without even knowing what season it was. The town (and I mean in particular the Council) offers no colour of the festive season at all. If they did – I couldn’t find it.
