Daylesford Sunday Market

The Daylesford Sunday Market is quite a large one, much bigger on a sunny day. It's an outdoor market so if there is heavy rain you can't duck under cover, in other words take a coat and umbrella.

The stalls vary greatly, from fresh vegetables, to cakes, to clothes, to absolute junk (which I always find worthy of a look). There's always hot food and coffee with no shortage of munchies on your journey. The market has plenty of crafts including hand made soaps, furniture, clothes and New Age.

Some of the stands worth a look are O'Tooles honey (probably the best honey in the state), the fresh vege stalls as you first go in and the old tools stall on your right hand about a third of the way.

You don't have to buy at the Daylesford Sunday Market but it is a tradition of visitors to the town and a great way to burn a few hours.
