Aire Valley Guest House Hotel Apollo Bay


	Aire Valley Restaurant and Guest House is situated on the Great Ocean Road, west of Apollo Bay outside the hamlet of Hordern Vale. The Homestead dates originally from the 1890s and overlooks the lakes of the Aire River Wildlife Reserve and the Great Otway National Park. Organically Grown Food from the Restaurant Garden The Aire Valley Restaurant specialises in the very best fresh food. Vegetables and herbs are picked from the garden each evening just before dinner from our Restaurant Garden. Usually our vegetables and herbs are picked after you have ordered so the freshness and flavour of the dinner is amazing. The Restaurant was one of the first restaurants in Victoria to obtain Green Table status. If you want to know where your food comes from take a stroll around our Restaurant Garden. Aire Valley Restaurant is the only restaurant between Apollo Bay and Port Campbell. An excellent wine selection from local wines and Victorian wines has been carefully selected to compliment our restaurant menu. Great Ocean Walk - Apollo Bay to the Twelve Apostles... Since the Great Ocean Walk opened in January 2006, Aire Valley Restaurant and Guesthouse has hosted and organised trips for walkers along the Great Ocean Walk. Lunches are made fresh each day with salad picked from the garden in the morning. Transfers are easily arranged and if time is short we can recommend the highlights of the Great Ocean Walk. See our specialist site on the Great Ocean Walk for further information. Great Ocean Road voted No 1 Tourist Attraction in Victoria... The best tourism experiences were voted for on the RACV website. After 72,000 visits to the site the number one attraction was the Great Ocean Road. The Otway Fly was voted in at number 50. The Cape Otway Lightstation was voted Number 86. The Great Ocean Walk just missed out on a place in the top 101 but this is likely to change as more people find out about this spectacular walk. Ensuite rooms - Breakfast with fresh eggs from our hens. All our rooms are ensuite and open out onto the wide verandah through French doors. A gourmet breakfast each morning is served featuring fresh free range eggs from our own hens.
