Not to be confused with the Daylesford Sunday Market.  Daylesford Farmers Market is on the first Saturday of each month at the Daylesford Primary School (just down the hill from the post office towards the lake Daylesford).  A gold coin donation will get you in so you can peruse the local produce of the Hepburn Shire (and further afield) within the beautiful surrounds of the park.

There's plenty of food on offer including fresh and cooked.  This is just not for local produce as you could purchase products from as far away as Mildura.  Local producers such as O'Tooles honey were represented so you can try some freebies before you buy.

Although Daylesford Farmers Market offers very good produce it is not the place for cheap groceries.  Everything was quality product and prices seemed to reflect it.  Hopefully some of the bargain stalls will open in the future.

If you want a great juice, quality fruit and veg (including organic), condiments, etc this is the place for you.

The juice stand gets an honourable mention for blood orange and tangello juice worthy of the trip alone.
